Any Indian Highschool student (ages 13-18). This event is focused on bringing new opportunities to highschool students across India, doesn't matter how skilled you are. We welcome students who have been coding since birth to those who have never seen a line of code in their life. Plus its all free!
Yep! Many of our participants are brand new to development, and we have many others coming from all different skill levels. We will be hosting workshops on using different tools before and during the event.
You do not need to know how to code or code for this hackathon. Our hackathon is welcomes coded and non coded projects suck as prototypes and mockups in different software. Don't worry if you don't know prototyping, we will organize workshops regarding them and you also have free content on YouTube.
It is up to you. Students can participate individually or in teams of maximum 5 people in it. Most participants choose teams of 2-3 as the workload tends to get distributed. You can make a team before the event itself or attend our team building event to make a team. If you choose to make a team before the event itself, ensure all of your team members are registered for the event.

No, you only need to be present on the livestream at the start of the event (Wednesday, January 26, 3 PM IST) and the end of the event (Sunday, February 30, ~10 PM IST). You can always feel free to hop in on the discord call to ask any questions and to attend any of our workshops!
This is an educational experience and we want you to learn as much as you can. We request you abide by the following rules:
1. Be respectful when collaborating with your team members as well as other participants
2. Do not send any harmful materials, links, IP grabbers or negative information of it will result in a direct disqualification from the hackathon
3. Avoid the usage of profanity in your project and refrain from using other peoples work (This can lead to disqualification of your project).
4. Refrain from posting personal information, and nickname yourself your real name for clarity purposes.
5. Respect everyone and have fun
On the day of the event we will announce the prompt on which you have to hack. Discuss with your team and find a topic you think you could do the best in. There is no advantage/disadvantage for choosing one track over the other. They’re all great options and you should just pick the one that is best for your team.
Yes! This hackathon has been organized such that both beginners, as well as experienced students, can attempt them and have an equal chance at winning. if you get stuck at any step of the way, just contact our executive team. We will be happy to help
Yes. You are free to use any program of your choice as long as you can provide the final deliverable to us in a common file type such as a JPEG or PNG or a website link.
Yes. You have made them and hence you rightfully have the right to keep it and use it in any form or format. We would appreciate a small mention of our club in the project description, but that is completely optional.
Yes, there are prizes for both beginners as well as pros! More details will be announced closer to the day of the event.
